“Well, why did you say that I don’t know about love?” the sun asked the boy. “Because it’s not love to be static like the desert, nor is it love to roam the world like the wind. And it’s not love to see everything from a distance, like you do. Love is the force that transforms and improves the Soul of the World. When I first reached through to it, I thought the Soul of the World was perfect. But later, I could see that it was like other aspects of creation, and had its own passions and wars. It is we who nourish the Soul of the World, and the world we live in will be either better or worse, depending on whether we become better or worse.  And that’s where the power of love comes in. Because when we love, we always strive to become better than we are.” From the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

There's a lot of good work to be done every day. If we're living courageously, in a way that gives our true self to the world, then oftentimes we're going to push ourselves into the unknown. Because I choose to live courageously, I thank the creator for the incredible gift of coffee. Amen.

Through every challenge, I know that I am loved. I hope this week's haiku helps to bring at least a small dose of that love to you.

Thank you @coffeemania607 for the love you manifest to me through your Black Gold espresso blend :)

I've been struggling to find a way to work toward a solution rather than continuing to add to the massive mess that we're collectively making. Unfortunately, I've been hit by the reality that I can't remove all single-use plastic from my world. It's just not realistic. And then, inspired thought came to me as I sipped a hot cup of @CoffeMania coffee... I can remove single-use plastic from one very important part of my daily life — my beverage consumption...
