Grow slow to grow strong
Patience requires courage
Love will make you brave
Chapter 67 | Tao Te Ching
The world talks about following The Way,
but their actions prove otherwise.
People dismiss The Way because of its simplicity.
Instead, they seek short-term and complicated greatness.
The wise hold closely to three treasures –
love, moderation, and humility.
Love and compassion allow you to be brave.
Moderation allows you to give yourself to others.
Humility lets you improve and find your greatness.
To abandon love while seeking bold courage,
or abandoning moderation while feigning generosity,
or dismissing humility while seeking great power
will only lead to trouble and ultimate defeat.
Love is victorious – even in battle.
Bravery filled with love and compassion
will hold its ground.
Heaven defends and protects those
who defend and protect love and compassion.
My humble commentary:
In 2025, live with courage, moderation and humility.
Give yourself with love and compassion.
Improve and find your greatness.
This is the intention that I am setting for myself. Brew with me.
